Artists Residency at Konvent Zero

The Konvent Zero residency took place in a nineteenth century convent.   Over 30 artists had to choose one of the rooms, and create something specific for the space. We were asked to develop a body of work based on Dimitriv Nabokov ́s Lolita.

I used the residency as an opportunity to experiment with my photographic process from start to finish.
I cast my imaginary Lolita, bought 6 different types of B&W film, built a darkroom, and spent the duration of the residency developing the project.

My fictional narrative was about a girl that becomes obsessed with her own image and explores her contaminated purity through the reflection of photography.
